Who this covers
This policy covers Kawzacutz, an appointment-only barber studio operating at 28 Keystone Avenue, Mt Roskill, Auckland 1041. It explains what personal information is collected, how it is used, and the rights you have under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
This website does not collect your data
This site does not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party embeds, and it does not set cookies. There is no contact form and no account to create. You can read every page without giving anything up.
Bookings are handled by Setmore
All bookings are taken through Setmore, a third-party booking service. When you click a Book button you leave this website and go to https://kawza.setmore.com. Anything you enter there — your name, phone number, email address and appointment details — is collected and stored by Setmore under their own privacy policy, not this one.
Setmore shares your booking details with the barber so the appointment can be honoured. That information is used only to run your appointment and to contact you about it.
Contacting the studio
If you phone, text or email, that message and your contact details are kept only for as long as needed to answer you and to run any resulting appointment.
Photographs of clients
The photographs on this website show real clients of this studio. They are stills taken from the barber’s own social media posts. No stock photography and no generated imagery is used anywhere on this site.
Location data and other embedded metadata is stripped from every image before it is published, and images that would identify anything sensitive in the background are not used.
If you are pictured on this site and want your photograph removed, ask and it will be taken down. No reason is needed.

- It will be removed from the website within five working days.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where there is no reason to keep it. Send any of those requests to kawzabarbershop@gmail.com.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz, opens in a new tab.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
